Surfware to Present at IMTS 2012

Surfware, Inc., developer of SURFCAM CAD/CAM systems, is pleased to be attending IMTS 2012, one of the largest industrial trade shows in the world, with more than 1,500 exhibitors and 82,000 visitors. Surfware invites visitors to all their exhibiting venues, taking place at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois from September 10 - 15, 2012.

Surfware will be demonstrating its latest flagship software, ‘SURFCAM 6’ during the 6 day show in the SURFCAM Booth (E-3320). Visitors will have an opportunity to see demonstrations of the many new features and benefits of one of the industries easiest to use, yet powerful and competitively priced CAD/CAM systems on the market today. Resellers and staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide solutions to visitors that require a competitive edge in toolpath technology.

Visitors will also have an opportunity to see ‘LIVE’ multi-axis machining with SURFCAM 6 in the C.R. Onsurd, Inc. booth (#S-8980). C.R. Onsurd, Inc., in cooperation with CAMcad Technologies, 2011 SURFCAM North American Reseller of the year, will be demonstrating a complete “American Solution” on a F148HM25H2 Model Dual-Head Onsrud multi-axis CNC machine, cutting two completely separate 5-Axis parts, simultaneously side by side on separate tables. C.R. Onsrud, CAMcad Technologies, and Surfware are pleased to be demonstrating this powerful and seamless integration of technologies to deliver efficient and affordable multi-axis 'program to part' solutions.

For visitors interested in reducing cycle times, increasing material removal rates and cutting tool life, Surfware, in cooperation with SwiftCarb will be demonstrating ‘LIVE’ machining in Titanium, Stainless Steel and Aluminum on a Haas VF-2SS using patented TRUEMill toolpath technology together with RampMill’s in the SwiftCarb booth (#W-1670). Visitors to this booth will witness how TRUEMill’s tool engagement controlled toolpaths used in conjunction with SwiftCarb RampMill’s will enable a Haas VF-2SS CNC machine to ramp and rip through the hardest and toughest of materials at record breaking speeds and feeds in any geometry.

Surfware invites visitors to these three booths at IMTS 2012 to learn how to increase productivity, profitability and their bottom line.
